KV and Debe Abbott share new art with you
"Cecily"s" is the latest in the ongoing series of "funky interiors" by Debe Abbott. Debe has worked on this series off and on since the early 1990's. Each piece is a whimsical room drawn from her imagination and informed by her love of old black and white films from the golden age of cinema. The paintings are named for the women she imagines might live there. This original painting is executed in acrylic on professional grade acid free paper. Prints, canvas transfers and note cards will soon be available.
"Indomitable Spirit", garden sculpture by KV Abbott. This steel sculpture is made from welded found objects and has a rich rusty patina. The sculpture stands at just under 6' tall and although designed for the garden would also be suitable indoors. The sculpture was inspired by Kevin's residency at the David Hayes Sculpture Fields in Coventry, Ct. this past summer. Visit with us during Sanford Art & Jazz Night January 20 from 6-9pm
"It's A Wrap"
Gallery On First artist John Sullivan was one of several artists' whose art was selected for the City of Sanford Utility Wraps Art Program. His Carousel Horse Art can be found at the Northwest corner of First Street and Sanford Ave. in the Historic Downtown District of Sanford Florida. A special thanks to the Sanford Arts Commission for making this project come to fruition!
