Stan Surman

Born and raised in New Jersey, Stan began his art career with a fascination for drawing. He has since focused on painting, primarily in oils.

While raising a family and maintaining a career, Stan's art skills took a back seat. However, after moving to Florida in the 1990's, Stan began to re-connect with the pleasures of painting. He is inspired by the work of Thomas Kinkade and the intricacies of how he uses light.

He has spent many years honing his skills, and is completely self-taught. Stan enjoys creating seascapes, landscapes, and portraits. He does commissions as well.
